Center Stage Entertainment: Center Stage Entertainment was started in the early 1990's in Batavia, NY by DJ Patrick Mandia. Within a few years he became one of the most Popular and requested local DJ's in the area playing at Batavia's and Genesee Counties top night clubs and private parties. To date, thousands of people have experienced his unique level of energy and music style. Playing all types of music from the classics of the 50's and 60's, to the groovy sounds of disco and the 1980's, and of course all the top hits from todays popular high energy dance music, club, hip hop and new rock.

Over the years DJ Patrick has played at almost every major event and night club in the Batavia and the Genesee area including the famous Engine House #1 historical landmark restaurant and night club, Heavrons, TF Browns, Mancuso's TNT, Sunny's, The former club at the Holiday Inn, The Hideaway, The Sheraton, and currently Billy Goats Bar and Grill. He also has been a guest DJ at several night clubs in the Buffalo area.

In addition, DJ Patrick and Center Stage Entertainment have performed at almost every major college in Western New York including the University of Buffalo, Buffalo State College, Canisius College, Fredonia State, Brockport State, Geneseo State, Alfred State, Alfred University, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Erie and Genesee Community College's.

DJ Patrick and Center Stage Entertainment has performed at hundreds of private weddings, parties, and other events all over Western New York including most of the premier banquet, fire, and party complexes in the area. DJ Patrick and CSE has also done private parties in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Southern Ontario. As a result of his extensive and unique DJ experience, his hard work and commitment has earned him a reputation as one of Western New York's best all around party DJ's.

Our company goal at Center Stage Entertainment is to provide the highest quality Disc Jockey and Sound System entertainment, at a price you can afford! To my current, past and future customers, as I reflect back on my experiences in the DJ and entertainment business I feel very lucky to have �accomplished what I have over the years. I never thought that what started out as a simple hobby and interest in a college radio station at Buffalo State would turn in to a journey that has touched so many in a positive way. I can not begin to tell you how many interesting people I have met and the friendships I have made along the way - from dejaying high school and college students graduation parties to being involved in planning and performing at wedding receptions, playing for peoples anniversary parties, company events, charities, benefits, and of course the hundreds of people I have met in the night clubs where I have played. I also can not forget those that I have worked with to provide music, AV, and DJ entertainment from business, industry, education, and local government. I could stop playing today and know that I have done and accomplished more than most in this field will ever. However, I sincerely enjoy what I do, certainly making a few extra dollars in helpful, but its not really about money, fame, or being in the spot light... - its the passion for life, working with and meeting new people, and of course a love of music and entertainment. Our speakers are elevated on stands to project the sound above the crowd, not into them. Current top 40 mainstream music is our speciality with thousands of today's best music selections to choose from. Here at Center Stage we closely follow the National Record Charts and update our music each month with the hottest new hits based on the Music charts. Through our affiliations, we sometimes have new music before it is available to the general public. Our music is sure to please most everyone's tastes. And if there is a song you want played that we do not have, we would be more than happy to play your CD or acquire the song for you. Song lists are available for view upon request.

All of our music is on compact disc, obtained commercially, and played on professional CD players, we never use any home equipment or unreliable, illegally downloaded MP3's in our mobile DJ setups. You would be surprised at how many other DJ companies are still using records, tapes, burning CD's from the net, and home sound equipment as part of their systems. A sound system is only as strong as it's weakest link. We have invested in some of the finest sound and lighting equipment on the market today. In addition, emergency back-up equipment is available for the unlikely event of equipment failure. From our systems you hear nothing but crystal clear sound with concert- like quality. Our DJ's will blend each song perfectly with the next, with no dead space in between them, and we take no breaks unless you want us to.

We have many lighting options and they are always offered to you with our services at a small charge, some special packages include everything. Our night club lighting systems feature special effect lights that are simply out of this world. When our lighting is used with haze machines, it creates an unforgettable eye-dazzling effect. Did you know that about 90% of a lights dramatic effect is lost without some sort of haze or fog, without it, you can not see the beams of light, keep this in mind when considering high energy lighting for your event.

As an option, our light systems feature state-of-the-art computer controlled intelligent lighting for an extra charge. These lights, controlled by a computer processor, have endless eye-dazzling possibilities. So what is it? Intelligent lighting is what you see at major concerts and shows. These lights, designed for the biggest stages and dance clubs in the world, are not found commonly amongst mobile DJ's. Our intelligent lights feature super bright arc lamps, that produce an intense beam of light. We can project many different patterns around the room, in several brilliant colors. These lights can turn your dance floor into a high energy style night club! Imagine having the same type of lights that major acts use on their world tours at your next event! The few other mobile DJ's in the country that own these lights may charge you several hundred dollars extra to have them at your event, while other DJ's will rent them and/or other lights and charge you to cover the costs. We own our intelligent lighting systems along with every piece of equipment in our inventory, and we can offer them to you at the best prices.

My Party or Banquet House says I must use the House sound system and/or Disc Jockey? What Should I do?

Avoid in-house sound systems and preselected DJ's.Most house sound systems are obsolete and will not provide great sound. Many are not positioned correctly and have been used and abused. Certainly there are good house DJ's available. However, why take the chance on your special event. The Best Disc Jockey you can hire - is the one that YOU personally hire. Insist on this option! Or find another place to have your party.

Should I provide a meal for my DJ? - Tipping?

Should I provide a meal for my DJ? The vast majority of the time, people will provide meals for their photographers, video personnel, and DJ's. Although not required, it is very much appreciated. Tipping? Tipping is a matter of choice. Many people do tip their DJ's if they have done a great job. During a typical wedding reception you will tip your party or banquet house staff, your limo driver, and other vendors. However, no other vendor has the power to make or break your party like your DJ.
